Alum Elected to Board of Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America

David A. Simon (Duke, 1988), Regional Governor in Philadelphia, was elected as the incoming Treasurer of the Board and President-Elect of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter. His 16-year-old step daughter, Emily, is afflicted with Crohn’s.

Brother Simon was also re-elected President of the Board of The Golden Slipper Center for Seniors in Philadelphia, whose mission is operating weekdays as a full-service center for adults over age 62. The center just celebrated its 21st anniversary and has expanded from the original site to six sites — housing eight programs with 800 unique members annually serving more than 10,000 hot lunches.
