AEPi Month of Giving

From March 15 to April 15, AEPi chapters across the globe will come together for the AEPi Month of Giving — a month dedicated to philanthropy, service, and living the Jewish values that have guided our fraternity since its founding.

Grounded in tzedakah and tikkun olam, Month of Giving challenges every AEPi brother and chapter to transform Jewish values into meaningful action.

Throughout the month, chapters will organize creative fundraising initiatives and philanthropy events to support AEPi’s official charitable partners and strengthen communities around the world.

HOW CHAPTERS CAN PARTICIPATE

While Mensch Madness remains a central component of the Month of Giving, chapters are encouraged to think bigger and explore new ways to give back.

Chapters can participate by:

  • Hosting large-scale philanthropy events

  • Running creative fundraising campaigns

  • Organizing community service initiatives

  • Competing in Mensch Madness bracket fundraising

  • Supporting AEPi’s official philanthropic partners

Chapters choosing the traditional Mensch Madness bracket challenge can continue that tradition, but they are not limited to bracket fundraising alone. Month of Giving is designed to encourage innovation, creativity, and impact.

BENEFICIARIES

Funds raised during the Month of Giving will support the following AEPi philanthropic partners:

TRIBE OF NOVA

  • Supporting the long-term recovery from trauma for the 3,500 survivors and 2,500 members of bereaved families connected to the Nova Festival on October 7, 2023.

GIFT OF LIFE

  • Working to cure blood cancer through cellular therapy by raising awareness, recruiting donors, and advancing lifesaving treatments.

SAVE A CHILD’S HEART

  • Providing lifesaving cardiac care to critically ill children around the world, regardless of race, religion, nationality, or financial status.

*All funds raised for these organizations will count toward each chapter’s overall Month of Giving fundraising totals.*

MONTH OF GIVING INCENTIVES

To encourage chapters and brothers to maximize their impact, AEPi will award prizes to top performers throughout the month.

CHAPTER FUNDRAISING AWARDS

  • 1st Place – Chapter that raises the most: Tailgate tent prize
  • 2nd Place – Runner-up chapter: $250 item for the chapter house
  • Highest Funds Raised Per Brother: Chapter composite
  • Most Individual Donors: Lawn games for the chapter

MENSCH MADNESS PRIZES

  • Bracket Submission Winner: $500 gift card
  • Top Chapter Fundraiser: $500 for rush shirts

INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISING PRIZES

  • 1st Place: AirPods Pro (3rd generation)
  • 2nd Place: One year of Spotify Premium
  • 3rd Place: $50 Uber gift card

MENSCH MADNESS

A key part of AEPi’s Month of Giving is Mensch Madness, our annual bracket-style fundraising competition where chapters and brothers rally their networks to support important causes while competing for prizes.

Chapters can participate by organizing fundraising campaigns tied to the tournament, submitting brackets, and encouraging supporters to donate throughout the competition.
