Each year at Alpha Epsilon Pi’s International Convention, the fraternity’s undergraduate chapters elect members of the undergraduate cabinet who are charged with being a liaison between undergraduates and the Supreme Board of Governors as well as helping to facilitate communications and relationships between chapters, alumni and staff.
Mazel Tov to Brothers Levi Fox (Texas – Austin, 2027), Sevan Minassian-Godner (California– Irvine, 2027), and Ivan Nefedov (Technion, 2026) for winning their seats on the 2025-26 AEPi Undergraduate Cabinet! Look for more from them in the coming days and weeks as they begin reaching out to chapters in their regions and across North America and Israel.

Levi Fox
“My Jewish leadership background began in BBYO and when I became International President of BBYO, I was at a summer program in 2019 and Brett Musick (AEPi Regional Director) was one of my staff members and he talked to me about AEPi and told me that if I was going to go to UT-Austin, I had to join AEPi. I have a lot of family members in AEPi, so I didn’t have to go anywhere else…obviously AEPi was the right decision.” After serving as his new members class president and filling some minor board roles, he was elected Lieutenant Master last year and then Master for the coming year.
“I thought about it and wasn’t sure, but it seemed like similar to my BBYO experience and if it gives me a chance to help someone or another chapter, I wanted to do it.” Levi wants to help chapters with people management, changing the way that AEPi is supporting its members in everything from study habits to mental health. We are all having these problems and I want to show our brothers the resources that their university has for them and, of course, what AEPi International provides.”
“I also want to make sure that every AEPi – every single Jewish student on campus – knows that they can continue to be proud of their Jewish heritage. I know that Jewish students are struggling on campus, and we need to make their battles public and show them that we are with them.”

Sevan Minassian-Godner
BBYO also led Sevan to AEPi. “I was at the BBYO international convention that Levi got elected International President and I got interested in AEPi starting then. After I joined AEPi, I found out that my grandfather was an AEPi from a long time ago! Elected new member educator and then rush chair, scribe. I was also elected vice president of Hillel. AEPi has been really great for me on my campus.
I was friends with Leeor Plafkin from Northridge (a member of last year’s undergraduate cabinet) and he talked me into it. I wanted to help more guys in AEPi…I’ve already been helping Pomona out because they are a small colony and on semesters so I can play a role up there before school starts for me.”
Sevan wants to help chapters connect with each other and work cooperatively. “Being in Southern California, we have a lot of chapters really close to each other and that’s great. I want to make those connections all throughout AEPi.” I come from a campus with a really small Jewish population, and I want to make sure that the Jewish students don’t drift away from Jewish organizations and their Jewish identity. We need to get more brothers from more chapters to come to convention and conclave so they learn about how AEPi can help them.”

Ivan Nefedov
An aerospace engineering student from Technion, Ivan’s approach to his role on the undergraduate cabinet revolves around building bridges between the North American chapters and the brothers in Israel. “Fraternities in Israel are MUCH different than in North America,” Ivan said laughingly. “Most of our brothers have already served in the army (though Ivan intends to complete his service after graduation). We aren’t as crazy!” Ivan’s AEPi journey began when a past master of his chapter talked to him about building his leadership skills through AEPi. After initiation, he served as chapter scribe, then completed a term as master, and is now scribe again. “Our philosophy here is to give every person an opportunity to be a leader. We are all learning skills in AEPi all of the time.” Even though he was the only person from his chapter to attend #AEPi112, he had an amazing time. “AEPi has great brothers. I learned so much…met so many people…I want more of our Israeli brothers to have this experience!” Serving on the Undergraduate Cabinet will give Ivan the platform to introduce Israeli brothers to the wider AEPi community and vice versa. “I’m looking forward to speaking to more brothers and getting them to do events with our Israeli brothers…even if they just stop in to visit us when they are on Birthright or visiting Israel!”
