“Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi), the world’s Jewish fraternity, applauds the members of the University of California (UC) Board of Regents for their recent actions to ban BDS on all UC campuses. BDS is a transparent attempt to delegitimize Israel and ostracize those who support Israel within the campus community. Actions such as these – along with further steps to safeguard Jewish students – are critical for our mutual students.
AEPi has undergraduate members who are students at eight UC campuses: Davis, Santa Barbara, Berkeley, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego and Santa Cruz. In addition, AEPi members also attend three California State University campuses: Chico, Long Beach, and Northridge, as well as University of Southern California, San Diego State and California Poly – San Luis Obispo and Pomona. In total, there are more than 660 AEPi undergraduate members attending institutions of higher learning in California.”
